Am fed up with being soaked, splashed on, wet through, damp smells and soggy umbrellas in the office!!! When will it all end? In need of a cheer up big time, so am looking forward to getting the tree up tomorrow...yippee. I still believe in Santa and hope every year for the diamonds and red soled Christian L shoes - one day perhaps?!

Brad and his band are just fabulous so cannot wait. George from Blackbird catering will be serving delicious nibbles.....and the bubbles will be flowing.....
So, get out of the rain and book your places quick - bring partners too if you wish.......it will be special! Also the raffle and sugarcubes is all to benefit St Michael's Hospice.........good times for good causes - what's not to love?!

It's that time again!

Hello there! Many of you have rsvp'd for Thursday 19th November - it shall be a good one, and in the wonderful new office building; One Priory Square. Things kick off at 6pm and Linda Jeffcoate shall be telling us all about Seeda and Seaspace and filling us in on some of the regeneration projects going on around town.

As you know, the party season is upon us and it's time to sparkle, glitter and glam up a little. The ladies from Who's Wearing What; Jan and Rebecca shall be bringing some divine clothes for us to take a peek at - even try on and perhaps make a purchase or two!! They offer advice, are patient and great at teaching us how to emphasise the good bits and cover up the bad. I have had a consultation with the delightful duo and learnt a lot as well as having a giggle along the way. I even tried on pieces I would never have thought of. So, if you are stuck in a bit of a style rut, or would like to spangle at the office party; have a chat to Jan and Rebecca. The girls also book private parties in your home or workplace, so why not get a group of friends together and enjoy a private shopping experience.

Vida shop offer fabulous rings from Brazil made from Agate stone........they will be on display on Thursday evening too along with windchimes, coasters and other little giftettes!!! Maxine and Lisa will be telling us about the products and their origin. The fact that they are the only UK distributors means that each piece is unique.

Bullet cafe from Robertson Street shall be providing us with wine and nibbles and as always, there is a chance to win some fabulous prizes in the sugargroup business card drawer.

Just for the record........ we all love shoes and you may know already but the glorious, yummy, scrummy Jimmy Choo are now designing for H&M! The killer heels and funky flats hit the stores on November 14th.......... we can now get all the style of the real Jimmy but at a fraction of the cost.....

See you all on Thursday..........

Sweetness and light

Our last sugargroup was fabulous thanks to the lovely Jo Fairley-Sams and all the staff at the Wellington Centre. Ladies were pampered, caressed, heavenly massaged and enjoyed yummy organic Italian bubbles from Judges and super canapes from talented chef Ronnie Balle.

We shall be meeting again on November 19th at the newly finished Priory Sqaure.....the penthouse actually!!!! Linda Jeffcoate from SEEDA shall be telling us about her plans and gorgeous duo Rebecca and Jan from Who's Wearing What will be talking clothes, clothes gorgeous clothes. For something a little different, and we are all wanting bling ring things; take a look at Vida Shop, the exciting rings from Brazil. Lovely Maxine and Lisa will be showcasing their wares.

It will all be washed down with drinks and nibbles from Bullet cafe.

T'is the season ladies and it's time to party........our next event will be very special indeed at the sumptuous Fairlight Hall. Bring along your men friends, hubbies, boyfriends or daddies and enjoy an evening of holiday cheer. Save the date - December 11th........we only open the pink sugar doors to men once a year!!!

Have just returned from a trip to Spain where the sun was strong and the cocktails stronger!! One lovely thing we all notice when we go abroad is the european enjoyment of lifes' simpler pleasures like lunch.....so before you grab that sandwich at your desk or wolf down that coffee; go for a wander and grab a bite at Porters (lunch special), Bullet or Dragon - you'll be pleased you did and a little time out is good for us.

See you soon
